The Arkansas Definition of "Infamous Crime" Amendment was not on a 2016 election ballot in Arkansas as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment.

If approved, the measure would have defined the term "infamous crime" as used in Section 9 of Article 5 of the Arkansas Constitution.[1]

Section 22, Article 19, of the Arkansas Constitution says that a majority vote is required in both houses of the Arkansas Legislature in order to send a measure to the ballot.
